Creating and planning a fashion event depends a lot on the needs and wants of the stakeholders involved. For instance, if a fashion event is about marketing the current trends, then the purpose would be to sell these attires. In this regard, as an organizer, I will have to make a list of all the fashion designers, stylists, and models who want to be involved. Similarly, identifying the theme is the first step in planning the event since it is the theme that also determines the venue, the vendors, as well as the audience that would be present.
For instance, in a fashion event related to winter, the accessories, sweaters, trench coats, jackets, socks, ties, watches, makeup and everything fashionable that can be worn in winter that is pink must be obtained from fashion designers and other stylists and suitable vendors. Furthermore, the clothes must match the theme, venue, invitations, and be able to resonate with the audience that the organizers expect to turn up for the event.
Furthermore, the event organizers must assemble critical people like the models, photographers, advertisers, makeup artists, wardrobe specialists, music and lighting technicians, security personnel as well as the cleanup crew among others. The role of each of these individuals is critical to the success of the event and the lack of cleaning people will turn the pace into a garbage heap and an event without security personnel is likely to end up unruly if no rules and regulations are set. In a winter fashion event for instance various people from all walks of life with different demographics factors like age and socioeconomic status will come to the event so as a fashion event that intends to sell its wares to the public, the organizers must ensure that there is something for everyone to purchase and wear during winter that is pink if wearing pink in winter is the theme. The models too can be amateurs who can be compensated with the pictures from the event on such occasions.
